 In Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala", the universe, multiverse and restricted repositories are activated by default. For installing Multimedia files you need to add medibuntu repositories.
Run the following in command mode it will add medibuntu repositories in your sources list $ sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/karmic.list --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list then Add the GPG Key: $ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get update |
