Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) is a cross-platform runtime environment for building rich Internet applications using Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex, HTML, or Ajax, that can be deployed as a desktop application. Adobe AIR contains lots of popular applications. After installing Adobe AIR we can install applications easily. First download AIR from Adobe site. http://get.adobe.com/air/
The name of the downloaded file is AdobeAIRInstaller.bin Open the terminal and go to the downloaded location( My location is setup folder[see the screeshot]) Type su in the terminal to get root permission. Then change the permission of file using the command chmod 777 AdobeAIRInstaller.bin [see the screenshot] Now run the command ./AdobeAIRInstaller.bin to execute the file The normal installer will open, install it.
